What a Joy gift card is

A Joy gift card is a prepaid code worth a fixed USD amount. The recipient enters it under Billing → Redeem gift card and the balance appears in their wallet immediately, in USD, ready to spend on any hourly or invoiced service — VPS, Windows licences, extra IPs, backup space, marketplace escrow or CDN usage. There is nothing to activate and no expiry on the credit once redeemed.

Denominations and validity

Denominations: $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100; custom amounts on request for bulk orders.
Codes are valid for 12 months from issue; once redeemed, the wallet credit does not expire.
Credit is not withdrawable as cash and cannot be transferred between accounts after redemption.
Codes are delivered by email as text and as a printable PDF with the Joy design; physical cards are available for events.

How to buy

Open a Sales ticket in the console (or use the contact form on the contact page) with the denominations and quantity.
We issue an invoice in your currency; pay by UPI, card, net banking, PayPal or crypto. GST applies in India.
Codes are delivered by email within one business day of payment — usually within an hour during Indian business hours.

How to redeem

Log in to the console and open Billing.
Choose Redeem gift card, paste the code and confirm.
The USD amount is credited to your wallet and shown in your account currency. Hourly servers start metering from it immediately; invoices can be paid from it with one click.

Rules

A code can be redeemed once, by one account. Attempting many invalid codes locks redemption for an hour.
Gift cards are not refundable to the buyer once delivered, except where a code was never redeemed and the order is cancelled within 7 days.
Gift-card credit can be used for any Joy service; where a refund is later due under the Refund policy, it is returned as wallet credit.
Reselling codes is allowed for registered resellers only; contact Sales for reseller terms.

Frequently asked

Can the recipient use the credit for Windows or bare metal?

Yes. Gift-card credit is ordinary wallet balance: it pays invoices for any service, including Windows licence add-ons, dedicated servers and marketplace escrow.

Does the credit show in the recipient's currency?

The card is worth a fixed USD amount; the wallet displays it converted to the recipient's account currency at the current rate, and the USD value is what is spent.

Can I schedule delivery for a date?

Yes — tell us the date and the recipient's email in the Sales ticket and we send the code that morning, Indian time, with a message from you.

Can I get a GST invoice for gift cards?

Yes. Gift cards are invoiced like any other purchase, with your company details and GSTIN if they are on your billing profile.

What if a code was lost before redemption?

Open a ticket with the order number. If the code has not been redeemed we cancel it and issue a replacement; if it has been redeemed we can tell you when and, with a valid reason, investigate.
